Nancy Good, LCSW, is a psychotherapist, author of several books, consultant and speaker. She has offices in New York City.
She is a longtime (since the 1980’s) expert in treating couples and individuals with romantic relationship issues as well as in dealing with issues with difficult people at work. Her private practice is devoted to seeing men and women alone, and in couples and groups, as well as consulting in corporate settings during crisis incidents for stress relief.
Nancy’s goal is always to help her clients become who they were meant to become in the world, and to help heal relationships that have been torn by conflicts. It is more often than not possible to arrive at places of warmth and calm so that resolutions can be found and love can be restored. Another specialty is in dealing with commitment issues that men have in romantic relationships.
She is the author of several articles on dealing with difficult men that have appeared in Ms., Woman and Self magazines. She has been quoted in Newsweek and in Cosmopolitan. Her workshops have taken place at the Learning Annex in NYC and at several women’s organizations.
